CR Develops a New Landscape for Silver Tourism Trains

     CR has placed significant emphasis on the silver economy and senior tourism. Since last year, it has conducted intensive research, systematically organizing studies, and held its first railway-wide conference focused on tourism, aiming to enhance the operation of senior tourism trains to better meet the travel needs of elderly passengers.

  CR will leverage the industry's advantages and the unique role of tourist train products. Guided by market demand and closely aligned with local resource characteristics, it aims to create a new development pattern for senior tourism trains within three years. This will include a nationwide product system with diverse routes, rich themes and comprehensive services. The goal is to achieve three transformations. Quality-wise, CR will focus on the needs of senior passengers to update equipment and upgrade services to improve service quality. Scale-wise, over 100 senior tourism routes will be designed, with 160 dedicated senior-friendly train sets, and more than 2,500 trains will be operated annually. Brand-wise, by refining the cultural elements of the routes and services, telling compelling stories about the train themes, and strengthening brand promotion, CR aims to make senior tourism trains a benchmark for the silver economy.
