Beijing-Guangzhou Railway Launches Intensive Maintenance Campaign

　　On April 8, workers from the Zhengzhou Bridge and Works Depot of CR-Zhengzhou seized a 180-minute maintenance "window" to perform heavy machinery tamping on four sets of down-track turnouts at Xiaolizhuang Railway Station on the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway. This marks the official launch of the first phase of intensive maintenance on this railway.

　　As a pivotal north-south rail corridor handling immense passenger and freight traffic, the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway will undergo comprehensive overhauls of tracks, turnouts, bridges and tunnels during 35 scheduled maintenance windows.
